Music!
It isn't Oktoberfest without polkas, oom-pahs & chicken dancing!
Join us this fall for authentic Oktoberfesting music provided by one of America’s most popular Oktoberfest bands, a Canadian band that’s knocking the Oktoberfest world on its ear, and our very own local Bavarian orchestra!
The Europa Band
One of the top Oktoberfest bands in the country — The Europa Band— is back by popular demand for their 14th year, providing authentic Oktoberfest music like no other! John, Milan and Cadillac travel coast-to-coast each Fall playing at Oktoberfests from Montana to Florida and back again, cranking-out the oom-pah, polka and waltzes ... along with a bit of country, gypsy fiddle and Carlos Santana!
Europa takes the stage from 5:30-11 p.m. the second weekend of Oktoberfest, Oct. 9-11. Check out the band and their music at: http://www.theeuropaband.com/
The Jordan Rody Band
New to the Whitefish Oktoberfest this year is the Jordan Rody Band … a five-piece band out of Alberta that’s taking the polka world by storm! Frontman Jordan — also known as Alberta’s Polka King — plays the accordion and orchestrates the band’s high-energy performance, drawing the audience into the action at every opportunity.
From polkas and waltzes to rock ‘n roll classics and Rody Band originals, this band will knock your knee-length socks off! Performing nightly the first weekend of Oktoberfest … Sept. 2-4! Check them out at https://www.jordanrody.com/
The Bavarian Echoes
Taking the stage on Saturday afternoons from 1-5 p.m. are the Bavarian Echoes, the Flathead Valley’s own 20-piece Bavarian Orchestra. Check them out under the Oktoberfest Bigtop … and have the kids close-by at 2:45 p.m., for the Chicken Dance Championships!
